Kenworthy finished 36th in slopestyle at the World Cup event in Silvaplana, Switzerland, over the weekend.

Since coming out, and over the last year or two in particular, Kenworthy hasn’t skied away from turning people’s expectations of a “masculine” world-class athlete upside down. Sure he’s not afraid to show off his built physique, but he’s also not afraid to don some ruby slippers for Halloween or don pin goggles.

It’s his flirting with femininity — and yes, his good looks — that has helped make Kenworthy so beloved in the LGBTQ community.
