Adam Rippon won the hearts of people — LGBTQ and otherwise — when he skated to an Olympic bronze medal in the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea. His program in the team skating competition wowed audiences and helped make Rippon a household name.

Since then Rippon has been unfettered and fierce, speaking out for LGBTQ inclusion in sports and across our society. He has not held back when talking about politicians, policies and the very presence of LGBTQ people in various walks of life.

Now that his figure skating career is behind him, Rippon is turning to a career in the media, hosting TV shows and internet shows, interviewing celebrities and newsmakers, and all the while being his true self.

Rippon is an icon in the LGBTQ community because he has been willing to be that true self, to express himself in his skating, his attire, his words, and his work.
