Spain’s Fernando Verdasco lost a five-set marathon semifinal match to Rafael Nadal in 5 hours, 14 minutes, the longest in the history of the Australian Open. In reading about the match and then doing a search, I was reminded that Verdasco posed last year for Cosmo (image here) and the ATP even did a video (here). Verdasco is someone to keep your eyes on, in more ways than one. Nadal faces Roger Federer in the final.
