Chandler Whitney, the Walla Walla Community College baseball player who came out publicly on Outsports earlier this year, posted this great picture of his entire baseball team posing for the NOH8 campaign. The campaign started in 2008 in protest of Prop 8 and has since become a go-to vehicle for people to show their support for LGBT equality.
Whole team and coach took a picture for our #NOH8 Day.. So blessed to have so much support!!! pic.twitter.com/pwESJh3fM5

Whitney is one of the few publicly out college baseball players in the country. The support of his teammates reflects what we have seen so many times in sports from teams that have an athlete come out publicly. They are often a source of pride.
Various people in sports have shown up in the campaign including NBA legend Isaiah Thomas, NFL DB Antonio Cromartie and Texas Rangers pitcher Robbie Ross.
