The year 2019 draws to a close with the LGBTQ sports wedding of the year: Ali Krieger and Ashlyn Harris tied the knot in Miami, Fla. Saturday, capping a momentous year for the Women’s World Cup winners.

And thanks to social media, we have all the details and photos from the Krashlyn Wedding, which featured a galaxy of soccer stars in attendance.

Megan Rapinoe, Alex Morgan, Abby Wambach, Heather O’Reilly, Marta, Becky Sauerbrunn, Crystal Dunn, Tobin Heath and Christen Press (spotted holding hands, according to The18.com) and many more joined the USWNT heroes and Orlando Pride power couple as they wed at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.

“It was this kind of Mediterranean castle-like vibe right on the water, this European-type vibe that we were going for,” Krieger told People magazine. “Right when we walked in we were like, ‘Oh my God. We love this and everyone else was going to love this and this is just … This is it.’”

Krieger’s brother Kyle, a hairstylist and social media personality, provided that picture of the venue as well as a peek behind the scenes, to show us all the hair and makeup preparation for Friday night’s rehearsal dinner.

Travis Yoesting of the18.com shared Rapinoe’s IG story, showing “what appears to be Harris taking a CBD gummy before the wedding.” Yoesting added, “CBD gummies are completely legal in the U.S. Also, it should be mentioned the gummy came from Mendi, a company founded by Megan Rapinoe’s sister Rachael and makes CBD products for athletes.”

Before dinner, Harris and Krieger each posted a photo of themselves, resplendent in matching white outfits, with Harris telling Krieger, “It’s time, baby… I’ve been waiting 10 years for this moment,” and Krieger responding: “I can’t wait to marry you!”

The festivities began with a champagne and sparklers celebratory dinner at Seaspice, also in Miami.

Three famous guests each brought along what you might call a plus-one: Alex Morgan, Heather O’Reilly and Hope Solo are pregnant and posed for a baby bump photo that Morgan shared on Instagram.

Into everyone’s life some rain must fall, and the happy couple didn’t appear to mind at all, as they made a coffee run through some liquid good luck on the morning of their wedding.

Harris called their wedding day “the most magical day of my life surrounded by the most incredible people,” in a post on Instagram.

People reported that Krieger was in charge of the wedding planning, “with help from Sara Lowell of Sara Renee Events and the couple’s agency, Wasserman. The couple also used the Knot to help get organized for the big day, and provide a registry for their guests.”

The couple exchanged rings by Great Heights, which Krieger told People “share the same vision and support surrounding equality and LGBTQ marriage rights.”

Krieger wore a gown by Pronovias, which also designed the mothers of the brides’ dresses and the bridesmaids’ dresses.

Vogue took a deep dive into how Harris chose her custom tux, designed by Thom Browne.

“Thom Browne dresses the Barcelona soccer team, and that’s kind of how I first started seeing his stuff,” she told Vogue. “I had purchased a few different items, and I researched his background and found out that he was an athlete. He was a swimmer and part of the LGBTQ community and an American-based designer—all of the things that I look for when wearing clothes. Honestly, I loved that it was very gender neutral, very fluid, there were women in dresses and men in dresses, and men and women in skirts. I can really feel how he expresses himself through clothes, it’s just so non-conforming and so far out, and I’ve been wearing his stuff ever since.”

Vogue desibed her wedding outfit as “a black silk faille tuxedo with an organza and beaded overlay in an argyle pattern. The jacket was a classic double-breasted silhouette, paired with trousers and a vest—similar to the sheer black tux she wore to the ESPYs earlier this year.”

“We were like how do we re-create that moment in a more refined way?” Ashlyn says. “That was the starting point with Thom.” The exclusive photos are posted on the Vogue site, but you can see part of it in this Instagram post by Rapinoe:

And here’s a snapshot of Harris and Krieger dancing and kissing at the reception, shared on Twitter, showcasing both of their designer outfits.

So far, no photos have emerged from the ceremony itself. But here are some reception photos and videos from the dance floor posted to Instagram.

Another fun detail: the guests were seated at tables named for legends in the LGBTQ community, according to The18.com, including Sally Ride, Anderson Cooper, Ellen DeGeneres, RuPaul, Harvey Milk and Billie Jean King.

Here’s the post Harris made on Instagram for New Year’s Eve: “Storybook ending to an incredible year. I’m married BITTTCCCCHHHH. See ya, 2019. @luvroxphotography”
